Matcha Workshop

Matcha, the Japanese ceremonial tea, is powdered green tea that's whisked into water, creating a totally unique drink. Diving into the world of matcha can be difficult, however, if you're not yet aware of some of its realities. You'll get to a nice start right away with our matcha course, and you'll also definitely drink enough matcha to keep you going for the rest of the day. We suggest booking the workshop for the daytime if you're worried about the caffeine (total estimate around 200 mg) affecting your sleep.

Included in this matcha course:

  • introduction to matcha and its traditional-style preparation
  • trying three different matcha teas
  • step-by-step matcha preparation (hands-on)
  • some useful tips

Duration: 45 mins to 1 hour

Please contact us by email so that we can set a date for the tea tasting! We usually have available slots within 1–2 weeks. We're able to host the course during our normal opening hours or adjacent to them. If you have a specific window of time for a tea tasting, you're welcome to inquire about suitable times before making a purchase (the chosen language may affect available times). You may also pay on the spot.

We will send you the printable electronic gift card through email. You may choose "pick up at our shop" as the delivery method. If you'd like a physical gift card sent via Post office, please leave a message to us via info@teemaa.com.

Gift card is valid for one and a half years.
