Origin: Anji, Zhejiang, China

Anji’s “white tea” (baicha) has, as its name implies, lighter color leaves than other varietals. The leaves are beautiful in shape like the brushstrokes of a skilled calligrapher. The aroma has delicious shades of fresh sweet peas, and the mouthfeel is magically smooth, soft and light. As a green tea, Anji Baicha is very resistant to hot water, the taste is nicely sweet but not bitter.
