This leafy and sun-dried tea is one kind of Dianhong, or the red tea of Yunnan Province, which has general lightness, sweetness and nuances of wood or grain. This is not the most typical Dianhong, because its leaves are larger, more open and darker, and the taste is much more powerful and darker.
Due to its softness, this tea is especially suitable to the bowl infusion. Place the leaves in a bowl (or cup) without a filter and add hot water. You can drink it without taking the leaves away.
