Nuomixiang Pu'er (Sticky rice-Pu'er)

Type: Dark tea, post-fermented, ripe pu'er tea

Origin: Menghai, Yunnan, China

Year: 2020

Nuomixiang means the smell of sticky rice, and the herb of the same name (and smelling!) is used to scent the Pu'er tea. This tea does have a strong rice-like scent, which for some is also reminiscent of dog paws, and its sweet down-to-earth taste and light mouthfeel are gentle and comforting.
